The Dungeon Bat.
Chapter 2
"Anyway we better start getting to class or we'll be late!" Anah shouted over her brother a couple minutes who was trying to convince her that pancakes are better than waffles or something.(That sounded stupid sorry) "I don't CARE if i'm late to Potions!" Janie grumbled gathering her stuff. "You'll get points taken away from Gryffindor Janie get up." I said grabbing her bag for her. When we were halfway there I was starting to get sick of Janie's complaints about Potions. "For someone who doesn't care about not running in the halls you're really going slow." I thought. And it was true, Janie was dragging her feet like she was chained onto something. "The Dungeon Bat will take points of for ANYTHING!" she yelled. "Well we have to go the Eve Brandon and the others are already there." I said risking it and grabbing her arm to pull her down the hall and down the stairs. "And don't call a Professor a 'bat'!"
When we got to the dungeon I was starting to think Janie was right, witch was very very rare. It was dark and gloomy with torches on the walls and no windows. Janie was somehow unfazed by this and I guessed she had come down her on her night trip around Hogwarts. We sat down in our seats and Professor Snape came out of nowhere. I had a weird feeling I was about to be the target of this situation. "Well, well, well." Professor Snape sneered. "Look who decided to show up." putting a lot of hate in the word 'up'. "I wouldn't have come if Brody didn't drag me here to your layer you evil Dungeon Bat!" Janie shot back loudly. "Don't bring me into this." I said glaring at her. "You." he said pointing at Janie her face an emotionless mask. "What's your name?" "What are you trying to do Dungeon Bat? Stalk me? When's the date night?" "Twenty points taken from Gryffindor for insulting a Professor." he spat at her. I was liking him less and less. "All she's saying is she didn't want to come!" I interrupted. Then I realized what I did and stared wide eyed at the floor. "Sorry..." I mumbled. "Then she can leave!" Snape whispered. "FINE!" Janie yelled. "I WILL!" and she got up and left, purposely running into a cauldron and knocking it over spilling a weird blue liquid onto the floor and leaving her things behind. I gaped at the door. Janie would NEVER miss a magical class if her life depended on it! She was so excited to get here and now, before the Dungeon Bat- no Professor Snape- even knew her name she was running of! "Professor?" I asked quietly. "What do you want boy?" he spat. "Well, I was wondering if I should go get her, sir? And maybe bring her back?" I paused, the look on his face was clear enough for anyone to see the rest of the question was not allowed.
-If you're still reading sorry for such a short chapter, I ran out of ideas-
