“Hey, Yuri? Can I ask you a question?..” Jumper asked as they were walking. “Sure, what do you want to ask?.” Yuri looked at Jumper. “How come you're out here. Alone?.” Jumper twitched his whiskers. “I was just wanting to explore around..” The skunk shrugged. “Oh…" Jumper twitches his whiskers some more. "How can you help me, exactly?.” He asked after a few moments passed. Yuri sighed and answered the young rodent’s question. “Well, I have helped other smaller animals around my original habitat.” “My owners and me sometimes drive around here to get me to the vet..I haven't been here in a few months so I can't recall..” Jumper was hoping he’d reunite with Tony and Chloe soon. He noticed Yuri was being quiet. It had been 5 minutes since they both said anything. “I’m alright, Jumper.” Yuri reassured her companion. “How far is Dragon Valley from here?..” Jumper asked, hopefully it’d be close.
“I think it's not too far away.” Yuri answered. “I'm glad you are helping me. Thank you.” Jumper smiled. “No worries.” The skunk smiled back. “We must watch out for Jagged.” Jumper warned. “Who’s that?.” The skunk asked, puzzled. “A cat that wants to eat me.” Jumper replied, darkly. “I think my owners are worried about me..” The hamster hated being away from the Ravenwood’s for long. “Have you escaped from your cage?.” The skunk asked calmly. He looked at the ground. “Yes..but for adventure..” He paused, hoping to not get a lecture. “I came around this place for adventure too, also for finding a place to stay.” The skunk didn’t seem to notice the worried expression on the young rodent’s face. “Maybe my owners might let you?..” Jumper said, hopefully. “I'm a wild animal, I don't think they will. If they see me they'll freak out.” The skunk was not convinced. “They are caring people. Their father works at a zoo..” The hamster remembered it all so well. “oh, maybe we can go there?.” The skunk asked, curiously. “Yeah!.” The rodent squeaked with excitement.
