When Kia, (Alpha of the wolf pack) gets struck by lightning in a storm in their forest, the human girl that grew up with them (Maya) has to aid him, and take care of the pack. She knows that Kia is to weak to leave the forest in a rush, but wolves are getting hunted, and they have to leave quick. Despite the fact that Kia's hurt, the forest was burnt down because of lightning during the storm, AND they have to leave in a rush, will they stay strong, and what will happen next?
