When Kia, (Alpha of the wolf pack) gets struck by lightning in a storm in their forest, the human girl that grew up with them (Maya) has to aid him, and take care of the pack. She knows that Kia is to weak to leave the forest in a rush, but wolves are getting hunted, and they have to leave quick. Despite the fact that Kia's hurt, the forest was burnt down because of lightning during the storm, AND they have to leave in a rush, will they stay strong, and what will happen next? Chapter 2
Maya's P.O.V.
AROUND 9:00 P.M.
We've been running for hours, but we have to stop here because it's getting dark and we're all too tired to run anymore. We made it to a different forest, but I don't like it here. I don't think the pack does either. I give the wolves, my pack, and the other, food. Kia finally woke up. I stay by his side all night, trying my best not to fall a sleep. I think I succeeded. I should've fallen a sleep on purpose. I don't know why I tried to stay awake. I'm too tired to run, but I can tell all the wolves are eager to leave. I rest Kia on Libby and Wind's back, for they are the strongest of the pack, except for Kia and Branch. Branch willingly Let's me rest on his back, so I take the offer. I put the pups in my lap, wait for them to fall asleep, then I take a small nap.
IN MAYA'S DREAM..........
(don't forget: this is her dream) Cracka BOOM! Thunder and lighning every where. A helicopter crashes, and a young girl falls out. (the young girl is Maya) She falls into a forest. "Mayaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Noooo" There is a scream coming from a women (Her mom) in the helicopter.
