The Girl Who Never Knew
This short story is something I came up with because I felt like it. So read if you are bored, if you want if you would like to and I hope you like it. It's about a girl suffering from a loss of a friend? If I get 2000 reads I will write part 2 of this book titled "I am Jace".

Chapter 5
Justice brings herself out of bed in her small apartment, she celebrated her 21th birthday by eating a whole bin of rocky road ice cream alone. 53 missed messages on her phone, half from her adopted parents, the other from a random number she didnt know. Either way she thought it was just her 'parents' trying to reach her in another number. Her old journal sitting at the bottom of her drawers, no intention to use it ever again.
She slips on a jacket walking out the door towards a local store she works at. When she noticed a new newspaper in the window at the store. With the headline striking her making her drop all the stuff she was carrying and run to the local hospital. Her eyes running with tears at this possible hope, but also with anger of being lied to of how her old friend could have escaped death and her never knowing the truth.
The headline: "Teenage boy thought to be dead, Wakes up from 6 year coma, A true miracle"
