Chapter 7
Lily's in the Gryffindor common room, reading. She wasn't to happy with James at the moment. "Hey, Lily." Said a voice. Lily barely raises her eyes.
"Yes?" She asked, her tone icy.
"Whatcha reading?" James asked.
"A book." Lily replied, her voice cold.
"Yeah, but what's it called?" James asked.
"Oh my God! Will you just shut up already?! Merlin's beard!" Lily yelled, storming off to the library. Severus walked in.
"Hey Lil." Said Severus, sitting down next to her. "What made you all upset?"
"James is just a git." Said Lily, setting her book down.
"I'm sorry." Said Severus.
"Oh Sev, it's not your fault." Said Lily, gently reaching for his hand (as a friend).
"I know...but i still feel bad." Said Severus, blushing slightly.
"Don't blame yourself." Said Lily, her tone stern. Severus nodded.
"I won't, i promise." Said Severus, giving Lily a small smile while blushing.
"Good." Said Lily
"Why are so stern with me?" Severus asked.
"Because, friends shouldn't hold grudges and make each other feel bad." Said Lily. Severus smiled and the two studied, together.
