Lily Evans walked up to the Hogwarts train after saying goodbye to her family. She was nervous and didn't know anyone she wasn't watching where she was going and ran into someone. "Oh i'm so sorry, are you ok?" Lily asked. The boy she ran into looked up at her.

"Y-yeah i'm fine." Said the boy. "Are you?" He asked, blushing slightly.

"Yeah, i'm fine. I'm Lily by the way. Lily Evans." Said Lily.

"I'm Severus. Severus Snape." Said the boy.

"Here, let me help you up." Said Lily, putting her hand out. Severus grabbed her hand and stood up.

"Shall we go to the Train together?" Severus asked.

"Um...yeah sure." Said Lily. "Lead the way." She smiled. Severus lead the way onto the Train where they found an empty compartment and sat. Lily looked around, fascinated.

"So...you Muggle-Born?" Severus asked.

"What does that mean?" Lily asked.

"Muggles are people that don't have any magic." Answered Severus.

"Oh. What are you?" Lily asked.

"I'm a Half-Blood." Said Severus.

"Half-Blood?" Questioned Lily.

"It means one of my parents is a Muggle and the other is Magical. Pure-Blood means that both of your parents are Magical." Severus explained.

"Oh...that makes sense. Oh by the way, can i call you 'Sev' for a nickname?" Lily asked. "When we become more closer as friends?"

"Yeah." Said Severus. When Lily wasn't looking he blushed.

The compartment door opened and a boy with messy jet-black hair walked in. "Excuse me but may i sit here?" The boy asked.

"Um...s-" Began Lily but Severus cut her off.

"No." Said Severus.

"Alright, i'll just go find a different compartment then." Said the boy, walking off.

"Sev! That's not nice." Said Lily.

"Sorry Lily." Severus apologized.

"That's alright, just not again." Said Lily. The train lunged forward and they head to Hogwarts.
