Chapter 2
~~Harry's POV~~
The pale boy with the pointy face and slicked back hair strutted to the Slytherin table, and I couldn't help it:For the first time since I had found out I was a wizard, I hoped I was in Slytherin.
I gasped. Ron looked at me, shrugged, then turned back to where Hermione was being Sorted.
I couldn't believe that I had just thought about being in Slytherin! Why did I even...
I gazed at the boy, Draco Malfoy, hoping to catch his eye, maybe have a sort of... connection?
But no such luck. I sighed. I didn't know why, but I just had a good feeling about him. When I was Sorted into Gryffindor, I tried to look happy.
I noticed that Malfoy looked kind of down. I couldn't help feeling pleased, and that made it easier to celebrate with Ron and Hermione.
I just couldn't help hoping that I would meet him again.
