Snowkit slowly opened her little blue eyes and blinked at the sudden light. She looked up and saw a pair of violet eyes looking at her, the queen purred as she licked her daughters ears "You've opened your eyes!" Snowkit snuggled closer, enjoying the warmth and asked "Who are you?" The she-cat answered between licks "I am Honeyflower, Snowkit. And this is your littermate, Pebblekit." she tapped the light-grey kit beside Snowkit. Snowkit looked at her and said "Is she dead?" Honeyflower laughed "No, she is still asleep, and you will leave her until she wakes." Snowkit nodded and closed her eyes again. Snowkit opened her eyes sleepily as she felt someone prod her over and over, she looked up to see amber eyes blinking at her and then a squeaky voice say "Yay! You're awake!" Snowkit stood up and stretched before sitting down and saying "I was awake ages ago! But you werent up yet, so I went back to sleep." Pebblekit looked doubtful "Uhu" before jumping on Honeyflower "Can we go out now?" Snowkit joins her "Please?" Honeyflower turns around, amusment glittering her her eyes "Of course, my darlings. Shall I come with you?" Snowkit jumps off and races for the entrance while Pebblekit calls back "Sure!" Snowkit races outside and runs straight into a Black tom, tumbling back after impact. Pebblekit shoots out of the entrance and trips over Snowkit saying ''Hey! Wait for m-oof!" The black tom looks down on them and laughs, picking them up by the scruff and setting them down. Honeyflower emerges from the nursery and purrs "Kits, this is you father, Thornfur." Thornfur looks at Snowkit and Pebblekit, licking their ears before they jump onto his back, squealing.
