We ran to mother. She sat there crying into her bed. "Mother!" I screamed loudly. She wouldn't budge. We pulled her along and she groaned every time we dropped her. "Where are we going father?" I cried. We were at the top level and father wsn't going down the stairs. "The elevator's safer!" he shouted over the roaring fire. My eyes were watering with heat. The elevator was at the side of the building entirely made of glass. Then I heard footsteps. Behind me was a human in a mask.....no......a death eater. Derek had told me about those. He looked like he was chasing us.....wait a second. He was going slightly towards my dad. I had a horrible feeling something bad was going to happen....."darlings, get in the elevator! Quick!" He cried. A tear came to my eye. "What about you?" I replied pleading for him. "I've got to end this and he's coming for me not you." he hugged me then pushed me in the elevator. He pressed the closing door button. But just as they closed he cast a spell at the man who fell down dead. I saw other death eaters running to my dad but as we started to go down my dad jumped out the window. After that my soul felt like most of it was destroyed and afire still raged in my heart.
