The cry
Chapter 1
Hi i'm Louisa here is my story-
I sat reading in my small room, the smallest in the flats and wondered about Derek. At Hogwarts he had kissed me for the first time. Then in was the winter break and I went home. I missed him. He lived somewhere in London, where i live, but he didn't tell me where. My locket was hanging around my neck. Inside it was a picture of my dad, Thomas Damcott (who had given me the locket), with his arm around my shoulder, a little girl giggling. She had ginger hair and blue eyes. Her face had a tan from being outside. He had said it was special and to keep it safe. I wished it was always like that. Happy. Sadly my dad worked in the department of law enforcement and didn't get an amazing amount of money. My mother, Charlie Damcott, used to be an artist and got amazing amounts of money. Then they fired her because her work was failing. She was stressed. I think it was something to do with my father ; they wouldn't talk to each other for months. We had to move out of our manor and into the flats, at the top (60TH) level. Underneath us lived Mrs mason, an old woman in her 80's. It was this voice i heard cry loudly when it happened. As I said I was just reading my book when i heard a scream down below. "Fire! Sound the alarm" cried the old lady. I sat still. What did she just say? Before i could finish thinking, the fire alarm went off. Oh fire. Wait........FIRE? I rushed around hurriedly and bumped into my father. "Oops. Dear, come with me LoLo. We're all safe. Come. It's all going to be fine." he told me and carefully took my hand into his. I had a feeling he was talking to himself.
