Hogwarts
Chapter 5
Overtime I gathered that the place I had been taken to was a magical school called Hogwarts. This did not arouse much interest for me. What was so amazing about some castle where you were educated pointlessly? I simply didn't comprehend it. But I did like exploring the corridors and enjoying my liberty in the grounds.
There I could let my energetic emotions dominate and I loved it. I would sprint across the grass, occasionally pausing to roll about in the long green blades. Sporadically, if I noticed and observed an opportunity, I would attempt to catch a bird, for an early lunch, though I was fed considerably well - pork and lamb chops every night! Beef, too. It all seemed especially good because I had never experienced such good treatment before - dry biscuits had been my daily diet in the Magical Menagerie. Of course I must possess empathy and understandingly comprehend their reasons, but still, it is hard to summon up this feeling.
And then, if things could improve even more, I discovered the Owlery. When I first hesitantly padded up there, I was awed. Hundreds of owls, perched above me - what extra meals I could obtain! If only I could climb up high where they were or they ventured down.
So Hogwarts, I must admit, was a wonderful place. It seemed so peaceful and tranquil - I never knew I would have such adventures there.
