Now, this sounds weird, since you are at the library right now, but trust me, this is one of the most helpful tips I will give this book.
1. Read the Textbooks. Textbooks are jam packed full of all the knowledge you will need for your study's over the years. They will help you whenever you need to look something up, and are a fun read. Before you contact a Professor or a PA, wouldn't it be nice if you could figure the question out on your own? Go to the textbooks. Besides being helpful, they are a fun way to learn as much as you can about the wizarding world, especially if you have nothing to do.
2. Read for entertainment. There are plenty of great books out there written by Hogwarts Students themselves, just like this one. Some are for entertainment, others filled with tips (like this one). They are a great way to find your place in the school, and how other people handle all of the work.
3. Write a book! This is not for everyone, but writing a book is a cool way to express yourself. You can set up a whole series, or just try one book at a time! It is loads of fun, and knowing people read your book is nice too. And, as you can see, it can help you, or other people a lot.
