Hagrid was doing a lesson which was so unusual at Hogwarts. Hagrid asked if anyone wanted to ride the hippogriff. Everyone backed away except for Harry. Harry went on and everyone cheered when he went up into the air. It was Malfoy's turn when he insulted the hippogriff and Hagrid has warned them never to insult a Hippogriff but he did. He got scratched by his talons, he flew into the air and then he had a bloody wrist. So the moral of this story is never to insult a Hippogriff.
