Harry is at privet drive then the Weasleys ask if he can stay with them for the summer to see the quidditch World Cup. Harry goes to the quidditch World Cup and after the match they get attacked by death eaters! Harry goes back to Hogwarts where mad-eye Moody is teaching and the triwizard tournament is beginning. People had to put there name in the goblet of fire for a chance to enter the tournament for 1000 galleons and eternal glory . Harry gets chosen to participate even though he didn’t put his name in the goblet. He is scared.
Ron gets angry because he wanted to go in the tournament and he thinks Harry did put his name in the goblet.
Hermione believes him though.
They find out there’s three tasks the four participants have to go through, the participants are Cedric diggory, Fleur Delacour , Victor Krum and Harry.
Harry finds out the first task is to get past a dragon he succeeded In getting past by summoning his broomstick and flying around the dragon.
Harry got a golden egg as a clue for the next task.
He finds out that you have to save a hostage from under water when Cedric told him to take a bath with the egg. Harry is told that the third task will be a maze with many monsters and enchantments.
He goes through the maze with the goal of being the first to touch the triwizard cup.
He has a reasonably clear path.
Half way through he hears fleur screaming and then Cedric shouting ‘ what do you think your doing?’
