Why is History Important by Ashton Hott
We are but a moment
in an expanded universe of infinite possibilites. In our world governed
by the laws of order and time, all of mankind strives to be accepted by
one another; by God; by the forces of nature; by the Universe itself.
We have learned to feel the pull of the stars in the heavens above and
the push of climate changes and enviromental establishments of the Earth
beneath our feet. It is from this push and pull that it was decided
that life must continue in all forms- that it should be recorded.
History was birthed by the divine rights of creation, represented by the
past few to teach the future of many.I believe that we all want
to reach one another and not just through the present, but in the past
as well. We want to experience the victories and suffering of our
predecessors in hopes that perhaps through them we may be transformed
into a state of higher connectivity that will spur the future into a new
era. History through the written, the spoken and the abstract has
allowed this to be the dream of today, the reality of our tomorrows. We
can find hope in history, through its lessons and the old stories so
wonderful and so terrifying, the basis of the Human Experience. What
is even more astounding is that history is the only truth that every
culture, every religion, muggle or magical agrees completely on. We all
collectively believe in our History and that it holds no wrong doing
towards us today. It is almost as if looking to our ancestors allows us
to reach the idealism of peace and tranquility because the past is so
perfectly sound. It is proof that we are all one and that all of
everything is one in the same. That God is reachable and that the future
and the vast universes are within our field of vision. I have always
been a lover of history and this is the reasoning as to why.
