There are so many brave people in the world today. So many talented witches and wizards. So many extraordinary people. And all of them expect for you to behave a certain way, say a certain thing, think a certain way. Even here. At Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

The hour ended uneventfully as I attempted to transform myself into someone else, someone everybody expected me to be. I still couldn't achieve that.

"Ah Miss Marks. Please stay a moment." Professor McGonagall said as the rest of my classmates and the Slytherins left the room.

Draco Malfoy snorted at me as he left my table and took his leave with his friends. I tried for it not to bother me, but it always does, no matter how hard I try. I watched him leave the room with his friends: Blaise Zambini, Pansy Parkinson, Crabbe and Goyle. It's always the same routine for him, doesn't he ever want something different?

"Miss Marks you are falling behind your other classmates. What is the problem? Why aren't you reaching your full potential?"

"I'm sorry I'm falling behind." I told her. It's what she expects me to say.

"Yes well, are you even trying?"

"Of course I'm trying Professor, it's just harder for me." What she wants to hear.

"Very well. I will talk to Miss Granger about possibly tutoring you on the subject until your grade and your attention in my class improves."

I let my head fall down as she walked away. I got to the door before she said it.

"And 5 points from Hufflepuff. Try harder Miss Marks."

I shoved out of the door to go to the Great Hall for dinner.
