Chapter 3
Nothing. Nothing happens. COME ON! Well, I guess I should check if my family is ok.
I slowly walk over to my dad. 'Please, oh please, PLEASE be alive!' I think. Nope. Not alive. I see some blood dripping from his ear, and i do not feel him breathing. Darn. Now time for mom. Please don't let me be an orphan! Yeah, she was dead too. No breathing. Time for Adam. I am almost ok with being an orphan but NOT without my brother. He is definetly dead. Like definetly. He may have lost a leg. And maybe an arm. Talk about costing an arm and a leg! Suddenly, I start to break down. This means I will have to go to an orphanage, without my brother! And what if i get a bad new mom or dad? What if....................................................................... The voices! I bet they did this! Oh they are gonna GET IT!!!!!!!
Suddenly, I hear Sirens in the distance. The police! They are going to put me in an orphanage! NOOOOOOO! Suddenly, my necklace starts to glow. It glows very bright, and somebody then finds me. A man, with messy hair, a gun, and a scowl. "Hehehe, you are gonna die orphan." He says. Then, my necklace starts to glow even brighter. Then, it starts to expand. It reaches all the way over to the man, and starts to choke it. The man coughs, and then falls to the ground. I check to see if he is still alive, but no. Then, I hear the slamming of doors. The police and peramedics come storming in the house. Ever heard of knocking? Oh right, the door is gone. They run up to me. "Is everything okay?" They ask, "looks like all the others are dead." The peramadic says. She walks up to the man. "He here at the bomb?" "yeah, I guess you could say that," I reply. The policeman walks up to me. "We need to get you to the hospital. Wait, you aren't even hurt!" the Policeman says., "how curious," He looks down at my necklace. It is still partially aglow. I start to wonder if this had something to do with me surviving. I mean, it did strangle the man!
We are now in the police car heading to the orphanage. "Muahhhhhhhhhhhhh- ah- ah" I hear, Not a good sign. I look down at my necklace. It now has an engraving on it. It says ' only those in danger get the curse' what could that mean?......................................................................
