I had just closed up the shop after a successful day and was sitting on my couch above the store when my phone dinged. I walked over to my nightstand where it was sitting. It was a message from Ron. "I need to talk, I couldn't talk to anyone else." I sat down on my bed and typed. "What about little bro?" "Hermione broke up with me." He responded. Ugh, girl problems. Why couldn't he complain to mum or dad, or Bill or Charlie. Obviously he couldn't talk to Percy as he would say something stupid, and Ginny would take Hermione's side. But he couldn't have talked to anyone else? What about Harry?

"Why can't you talk to anyone else about this?" I typed back. His answer shocked me. "Because... she broke up with me because... I was... cheating on her." I didn't respond for a full five minutes. "Why? Why would you do something so stupid? You had it good! You had a smart girlfriend and you threw it all away!" I said, why was Ron such an idiot?

I didn't wait around for his reply, instead I texted Hermione. "Hey, I heard that Ron cheated on you." I waited and then, "Who'd you hear that from?" I laughed a little, "The git who did it." I said. Then when she didn't reply I texted "I don't know why he threw it all away. He had it good. Much better than I've had it." I watched the three dots for a bit, she seemed unable to decide on what to say. "Thanks. Do you sell dungbombs?" I was surprised. "Yeah, is this something for S.P.E.W.? Throw dungbombs in the kitchen and force the elves to leave the castle?" I asked. "No, I wanted to chuck them into Ron's dormitory." She replied. I laughed for real this time.

I had never realized that Hermione would do something like that to someone, even if they did cheat her. "Are you serious?" I said, sure she would say that she was just joking. "Dead serious. Can I take an order of six?" I stared at the text. "Sure, for free since they're going to such a good cause!" I replied, and she sends a happy emoji.
