I bid Ron and Ginny goodbye as they apparated from the yard at The Burrow. Then I walked into my old bedroom. Mine and Fred's beds were still there. Some posters were still hanging on the wall, but most of them had been taken down. The dresser was covered in about an inch of dust. There were some boxes stacked in a corner filled with all of our old stuff. I could tell that mum and dad hadn't been in here for a year. It had the neglected feeling of a closet. But to me, it was home. I moved some dusty boxes off of one of the beds and sat down.

I dragged one of the nearest boxes toward me and began digging around. I found an old boxing telescope, some nosebleed nougat, and a headless hat. But then something moving caught my eye. I was at the bottom of the box. When I had finally managed to get it out of the box, my heart dropped. It was a photo, a photo of Fred and I smiling in front of our store, Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. It had been closed ever since the war. Part of the fun of running that store was running it with Fred. And now that he was dead, the whole world seemed so colorless. I didn't know if I could ever open the shop again. I wouldn't be as happy as my customers and I would probably stop making good products.

Suddenly I remembered that Fred would never have wanted me to stop opening the store just because he died. I wouldn't want him to stop opening the store if I died either. Thinking of this gave me the energy that I needed to get up. I walked out of the empty house and aparated, appearing in front of Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. I walked forward and unlocked the door. I walked inside to change into different robes. When I came back downstairs (I live above the shop) I flicked my wand at the closed sign and the word "Closed" turned into "Open".
