Chapter 14
*Third person POV*

Hermione held her daughter's hand as they waked towards the barrier between platforms nine and ten. George strayed behind with their son, who was complaining loudly about not being able to go to Hogwarts like his older sister. "But I want to go TODAY!" He cried. George looked around at the watching muggles. "Why can't I go to Hogwarts like Rose?" Hugo continued. "Sorry, he's upset because my wife and I have told him that his imaginary school that all of his imaginary friends go to isn't real!" George said to the surrounding muggles, gesturing to his son. He then ushered Hugo through the barrier which Hermione and Rose and already disappeared through.

"You got through all right with this one?" Hermione asked, pointing at Hugo. "It was fine." George said with a wave of his hand. But Hermione was watching someone else, someone else who was gazing back at her. It was Ron, Hermione hadn't seen him since they graduated from Hogwarts. He hadn't even bothered showing up at Hermione and George's wedding, though he had only been invited because Mrs. Weasley had insisted. "Do you really expect Hermione to want the guy who cheated on her at her wedding?" George had asked, but Mrs. Weasley had merely pointed out that Ron was still George's brother.

"Look, there's Harry and Ginny!" Said Hermione, looking away from Ron. She and George didn't need Ron in their life, not now, not ever. He had caused too much pain. Even though he was the reason that they ended up together.
