Confrontation - Murphy's POV
Chapter 4
Nope. I can’t do this. I think as I see her fly on her broom during quidditch practice. Orion still expects me to give insight on the strategies, so here I have to be, staring at the girl I like analyzing her passes and quaffle handling. Well, I should be looking at everyone playing but my concentration isn’t up to it, I can’t look away from her. Swirling, her blonde braid flowing in her wake. She is magical, and I can’t believe it’s been under a year since she started playing. She seems to notice all flaws in the enemies defences and is able to execute the correct manoeuvres almost every time.
After an exceptionally long sequence of defences and rebounds, they stop for a while to chat. She glances at me and flashes me a smile. She says something to Skye and Orion and turns to fly in my direction. Shit. Holy hell. She’s coming here and there’s no escaping her from this commentator box. She smiles and waves at me and maybe I manage to give her something resembling a smile. She is so beautiful. I quickly weigh my chances and come to the conclusion that she might be willing to be my friend again if I’d just be honest to her and say I’m sorry. But heck am I nervous as she lands and takes a seat on the bench next to my chair.
