A Drarry Love Story
written by Hermione Jean Malfoy
I didn't know whether I should do this, but some people said yes, so I decided to do it. I don't know much about Drarry so please don't judge me. It might be bad. This is still in progress.

Chapter 1
Draco remembered the day clearly. Purely. It was the best day of his life. He thought that might be a bit dishonoring to Dumbledore's spirit, as this day happened to be the day of his funeral.
He hadn't been seen that day. No one had known he'd attended. But he thought he might just cast a Disillusionment Charm on himself for a reason, a reason even he didn't quite know or understand. But he had.
He waited until the manor was clear, then set off, unseen. He waited in the Forbidden Forest for the funeral to start. McGonagall appeared, setting up the chairs and black drapes, tears in her eyes.
And then the guests came. Draco felt strange, watching Potter, the boy who he had hated, and hated him back, coming to the funeral hand in hand with none other than blood-traitor Ginny Weasley. He felt annoyed and betrayed for some reason. Though why should he? It wasn't as if he hadn't seen this before. They had been dating since the last year.
He watched as the funeral commenced, and each guest stood and recited their vows. Dumbledore was magicked into a beautiful white marble coffin. And there he stood, not making a sound and pretending he didn't exist for the fate of his life. He didn't scream when the merpeople came and sang their song. He didn't move as the centaurs shot arrows from just the place he was standing, holding his breath.
The guests began to pile out, until only Ron Weasley and his sister, Hermione Granger, and Harry Potter remained sitting on the draped glass chairs. Hermione lay her head on Ron's shoulder, and they stood up, walking a distance from the coffin to speak without being heard by their other friends. He was just deciding to apprate back to the Malfoy Manor when Potter began to speak.
"Listen, Ginny, we can't do this anymore," was what he said. Draco immediately looked up, hopeful for some reason, listening closely. It was easy to hear, when no one else was out in the field but Granger and Weasley, who were each trying very hard not to be heard.
"It's for some noble reason, isn't it?" Ginny said next.
Potter began to explain all the reasons he liked her but could not be with her. It seemed even longer than the portly old man's funeral speech, though this time, Draco was completely interested. Ginny began to say some other romantic stuff that Draco cringed at.
But he didn't care. Weasley had finally broken up with Potter.
