Listening to Susan's Conversation

Chapter 7
If Bethany had to say her worst habit, she would say it was eavesdropping. Bethany loved listening to private conversations. As you already know, Bethany would always eavesdrop on her parent's nightly conversations. She was hoping she could find someone to eavesdrop on at Ilvermorny.

That night, Bethany couldn't fall asleep. She wasn't tired at all. Bethany was only thinking of the accident with Dylan and eavesdropping. Bethany wanted to eavesdrop so badly. "Hey, Susan. Susan wake up." Bethany had heard a sound. She realized it was Susan's best friend talking to her. Bethany was so excited to listen to them talk.

"Huh... Tory. What is it?" Susan groggily asked. "Guess what?!" Tory asked enthusiastically. "Tory... can I go back to bed?" "It will only be a second. I heard that there is a descendant of Gormlaith wandering in this school!" "What!? Really!" said Susan now out of her half-awake state. "Yeah", said Tory, "I can't believe one actually is in this school. For centuries Ilvermorny has kept any descendants of Gormlaith far away from this school." "Tory...", said Susan now back in her half-awake state, "This could be false." "I know it isn't false! I'm certain there is a Gormlaith child wandering in these halls", said Tory realizing that Susan had just fallen asleep.

Bethany had to tell Emily about this. The situation was probably going to turn into Tory's conversation. "Emily wake up!" Bethany said while tapping the bed. "What is it Bethany?" She noticed that Julie was very tired so, she just told her to continue sleeping.

Now Bethany really couldn't fall asleep. So, instead of sleeping she wrote some essays.
