What is Ilvermorny?

Chapter 2
Bethany was leaving for her magical education in two weeks. She had to know where she was getting it from. "Mom", said Bethany, "Where am I going for school?" "Yes, now I must tell you. You are attending Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry."

Bethany had one main question: what was Ilvermorny? And of course she had all of the smaller questions that go along with it; where was it, what are the houses, stuff like that. Bethany didn't fell like asking her mom these questions. Her answers were blank. Bethany decided to find the answers online.

She pulled up the internet for magical folk. "Ah, here we go", she said, "The website is All the Answers which is an awesome website. And all about Ilvermorny." Bethany went to the page.

The page read, "Ilvermorny is the North American wizarding school. It was founded by Isolt Sayre and her husband, James. The houses are, The Horned Serpent, Thunderbird, Pukwudgie, and Wampus."

Bethany continued reading the article. She soon discovered what each house prized. She thought she would belong in Thunderbird. Soon after, she read the story behind Ilvermorny's founding. She found it very interesting. After reading all this, Bethany didn't feel as bad about not attending Hogwarts (although she still wanted Hogwarts more).

That night at dinner, Bethany's family made her really happy about going to Ilvermorny. She was so excited about it. That night, she skipped happily around the house while whistling.
