“Morning class. Today we won’t be using wands, but
keep them out just in case.” The Doctor said, placing a bunch of books on his
desk. “Pheew, these are some heavy books.”

“Why don’t use the levitation spells sir?” Hermione
shouted from the back.

“The what spell?”

“The levitation spell. Wingardium Leviosa.”

“What does that mean?”

“It’s a spell. It means nothing.” Hermione started
getting impatient.

“That is unheard of from where I come from.”

“Where are you from sir?”

“Gallifrey!”

“I don’t recall a place called Gallifrey sir.”

“It’s in outer space! All of the Time Lords used to
live there. Until…”

“Until what sir?”

“Forget it. I don’t want to talk about it. Anyways.
Everyone please come up and pick up a book for you. Only one each. If you are
too many then share.”

But the students didn’t budge. They simply raised
their wands and summoned their books.

“What kind of technology are those wands?” The
Doctor asked, scratching his head.

“How are you a professor when you don’t know what
magic is?” Shouted Hermione at the back.

“I am ignoring that comment. Now class, can anyone
tell me what Daleks are?”

No hands went up, but whispers filled the room.

“What?”

“What did he say?”

“Who even is this guy?”

“What is this guy?”

“Who hired you?” a kid from the third row asked.

“That is detention for you. In the TARDIS, today 4-7
o clock. Things need fixing in the main monitor.” The Doctor said, and went to
his desk. He pulled a small item, clicked it, and a projector came to life. “Now
tell me class what do you see?”

“It’s a giant saltshaker with a toilet plunger and
an egg whisk. A student in the very front answered.

“You too detention tomorrow the same time as the kid
in the third row.” The Doctor said a bit mad. “This is a Dalek. Daleks are the
most feared creatures in the whole universe.”

“AHAHAHAHAHA”

“What! Is he kidding us?”

“That? That looks like a kid’s toy!”

“Dementors are scarier.”

“Now! Can anyone tell me what a silence is?”

This time a lot of hands were raised.

“You! The girl on the back. The one with the weird hat!”
The Doctor pointed at the back row.

“It’s the absence of sound professor. And my hat is
just torn apart.” The girl at the back answered, slowly putting her hand down.

“False!” The Doctor said, and then he clicked again
his little item.

A horrifying picture appeared on the screen, and the
class turned away.

“EWW.”

“What is that?

“What is he showing us?”

“How is this Defense Against the Dark Arts?” Harry
said.

“DETENTION AT THE BACK! This is DADA. What I am
about to teach you might save your lives in outer space. At the TARDIS tomorrow
4-7. I already have to students for today. Anyways. Starting from tomorrow, we
will be learning how to kill Daleks. It is VERY hard. Almost impossible. The
zap you with their laser, and you are dead the same second they shout
EXTERMINATE!

The class immediately started shouting exterminate
in different voices.

“EXTERMINATE!”

“EXTERMINATE!”

“EXTERMINATE!!”

“EXTERMINATE!”

Suddenly a loud bang was heard. Something was
hitting the door. The Doctor pulled out something like a pen, and pointed it at
the door. The door opened. Students went towards the front of the classroom. At
the door, appeared the thing Harry saw before. The saltshaker!

“Ooops. I didn’t lock that up very well.” The Dctor
said looking scared.

The thing raised its weapon.

“EXTERMINATE!”
