The Deputy is the second in Command as some would say, he's the assisant of the leader
and helps with a few things around camp.


The Deputy organizes Border Patrols and Hunting Partys, he makes sure everyone is doing
something and is busy.



The Deputy however, does not have 9 lives and can be replaced
For example the Deputy becomes too old and wants to retire to the elders den, then he can do
so and is no longer Deputy. Deputys can also be killed in battle, therefor new one needs to
take his/her place.

But not just anyone can be a Deputy, it's part of the Warrior code that the Deputy needs to have
had at least one Apprentice because that gives him the sense of orders and organization.
If a Deputy needs to be replaced, it must always happen on the same day by moonhigh so that the
leader is too long without one, you never know what might happen during the night after all.


When the Leader loses his last life, he dies for good. In this case the current deputy is made the leader.
The Deputy is taken to the Moonpool/Moonstone by the medicine cat and is given his nine lives.
