Guide To Survive In Hogwarts
And no, I am not talking about how to defend yourself. Not everyone gets to fight He-who-must-not-be-named in their first year at school, even though everyone wishes it. Now this is how to uphold a reputation at hogwarts because, seriously, who hasn't heard "My parents were part of the war and knew Harry Potter..." It's getting old. What are you going to say when he says it's not true? Let's just say you'd be screwed. So this is how you must uphold a reputation without being boring and unoriginal. Unless you want to be... Which is quite unlikely.

2.2 Gryffindor
Chapter 5
Okay, I highly doubt you feel bad about being in Gryffindor, but you still need to learn a bit. There are a few things about Gryffindor that are important to understand. No house is the Hero with a capital 'H', not even Gryffindor. No house is better than the other and being in Gryffindor certainly does not make you the best. If you think so, then everyone will probably hate you.
Yes, Harry Potter and Dumbledore were in Gryffindor. Those two figures were truly great and truly showed the true courage of Gryffindor. That's what this House is about. I'd name friendship too, but I think friendship is a part of every house, so there's no point naming it here. Really though, I don't know what else to say about this house, it has been described so many times in the books and in the movies. If you haven't read or seen Harry Potter, I don't know what you're doing here, but that's basically it.
Look, Gryffindor really is a great house and people saying otherwise are haters or Slytherins (the rivalry between the two is common enough, I don't think I need a chapter explaining the fact that they both think the same thing about each other). No House is truly bad and no House is truly good. Gryffindor are like the jocks of Hogwarts, the popular kids if you must.
If you end up in this House, all I can tell you is to be careful for a big head and you'll do fine.
