When Harry arrived at Hogwarts he had to be sorted into a house. Well he said "Not slytheryn" he wanted to be in gryffendor. Alot of people got confused without his scar he would have been a complete gryffendor. So why did he not want to be a slytheryn? Well it is because Harry thought that if he were in slytheryn then he would be bad only because most people who are in slytheryn were bad like Draco.
