Chapter 4
As Elphaba and Severus left Diagon Alley, Elphaba accidently ran into someone and fell to the ground. She got up quickly to help the other person, but she was already standing, looking back at her. Elphaba noticed that the girl had dark brown hair and glowing green eyes. She looked away quickly.
"Sorry. I wasn't looking where I was going." the girl said.
"It's alright. I wasn't either."
Severus soon realized the his daughter was not with him. "Elphaba!" he called.
"I have to go." Elphaba smiled as she walked away.
She caught up with Severus easily.
"Where were you?"
"I ran into someone."
"It took you that long to apologize? If your going to say you're sorry, say it and move on, don't just stand there."
"Sorry."
"See how easy that was?"
Elphaba glanced back at where the girl had stood, but she was already gone. At the same time, the girl turned to glance at the place where she'd run into an oddly familiar looking girl, but no one was there.
