Introduction
Chapter 1
Severus Snape married Elizabeth Thomas in 1980, just a few weeks after Harry Potter was born. He knew he had no chance with Lily now that she'd had a son and no choice but to marry someone else. Elizabeth looked much like Lily, which was one of the reasons why he had agreed to marry her. The next year they had their first and only child, Elphaba. She was given her mother's maiden name to keep her safe, as Severus was a Deatheater. He had only felt love twice -- once for Lily Potter, now for his daughter. This time, he would not lose this love. Elizebeth died a few moths later from an unknown disease.
