Charms Class
Chapter 10
Just because I had won the position of keeper, that doesn't mean I didn't still have classes. Charms class was in 10 minutes. I hurried to my dorms. When I heard Callie's cry, I fed her and then I put on my robes. I hurried to the Charms classroom.
I got there seconds before Professor Burke started the lesson. "Welcome students, welcome!' said Professor Burke, "Today is your first day of Charms, and I promise you will all enjoy it! Let's get moving then." She explained all of the rules just as Professor Daniels had. Then, she gave us a short history of wands. After that, she taught us the Wand-Lighting Charm and the Wand-Extinguishing Charm. I thought they were hard at first, but by the end of the lesson I had mastered it.
My quiz was pretty hard, but my essay was easy and fun. Charms turned out to be much more fun than I thought it would be. The history was very interesting. I was very interested in wands, and I wanted to learn about them.
When Eleanor, Marisa, and I were walking to the common room, Eleanor walked into Abraham. This time, Abraham did say, "Watch where you're going Mudblood!" Eleanor just walked past the meanie.
"Hey", I said, "Did I ever tell you that a few days ago I bumped into Abraham. But, instead of saying "Watch it Mudblood!", he said, "Sorry about that."!" "That is totally strange!" said Eleanor. "What if he fancies you?" suggested Marisa. I considered that. That could be totally true. I headed to the dorms and went to sleep.
