PROLOUGE
Chapter 2
A golden-orange dragon swooped low over the grayish, murky waters of the Bay.
"Goldenrod, come back!" called the dragon following her. "I'm so sorry! I didn't mean it like that!"
"Yes, you did. You said that you were too good for a Low-Born dragon like me, that you were of higher status and I didn't deserve you, all that NICE, KIND, THOUGHTFUL STUFF."
"No! Goldenrod, I... I... I don't CARE about that sort of thing!"
"Well, you SAID it. And I'll NEVER forgive you for it."
With that, the gold-orange dragon flew away.... towards her own, dark fate.
