I figured out what happened last night. Somebody got lost in the Forbidden Forest. And it was a full moon! It was a Hufflepuff first year named Marie Williams or something. So I think today I will explore the places I have never been at this school. After a good breakfast of bacon and eggs in the great hall, me and some of the girls from my dorm were walking past the whomping willow on the castle grounds. It was a sunny beautiful day, but all of a sudden, something weird happened. I heard a howl coming from the forest. Then the sky clouded over and it began to rain. Thunder boomed and lightning crashed. We all sprinted back to the castle. What had happened? That night at dinner Professor McGonagall stated that Marie Williams was dead, and the search was canceled. Rumors began to spread around the castle. That she was killed by something other than a werewolf. Rumors that something else was in those woods.
