The Final Task
Chapter 12
I walked up to the Forbidden Forest. Today's task was going to be dreaded. We had to reach the middle of the Forbidden Forest to get the cup, while facing many horrible monsters. I was starting in the middle, Albert to the left, and Sophie was starting on the right. "3...2...1!" Kyle Watson shouted. We rushed into the forest. I hadn't walked far when I reached my first fork. "Left or right", I thought. I looked over. Sophie was going far. Albert was actually behind me. Since, Sophie was farther, I went right. For a long time, there were no options to turn. The next thing I knew, I was standing in front of a horrible troll. "Whhat do wee have 'ere? Ohhh, wee have ourselves a yummy lil' munchkin! Bros! Let's take the life away from this munchkin!" the troll shouted. A bunch of trolls appeared in front of me. Once again, the Sword of Gryffindor appeared in my hands. I took a slash at the one that found me and he screamed in pain. "OWWWW! OWWW! Owwww!" The troll's voice slowly faded away. All of the trolls gathered around the dead troll and cried. I had no idea trolls could cry! I knew trolls were horrible creatures and I needed to kill them, but some part of my body was pitying him. The picture of someone laying down on the ground without any life in him was horrible to see. Nevertheless, I continued walking. I took lefts and rights, until I came across a Acromantula. I tried remembering how Harry Potter defeated the horrible spider. "Arania Exumai!" I shouted. The spell blasted the creature off its feet. I continued taking my lefts and rights. I heard a soft cry. "Help! Please!" I took an immediate right to help Sophie. I did all I could until, she stood up and continued running. I went back to where I was, and I continued make my way around the forest. I thought I wouldn't face any more creatures until I saw a part-snake part-lion and part-goat. A Chimera. I expected to see the Sword of Gryffindor in my hands, which I did. I cut of the tail first, and then I slashed the stomach, and finally I cut off the head. I continued walking forward, and eventually I saw the silver cup.
