Quidditch World Cup
Chapter 1
I first met Cedric at the Quidditch world cup, and from then on I always liked him and thought he looked kinda cute and handsome. One day there, I had no idea what I was doing, but I picked out an outfit that would look suitable and attractive (knee-length coat, fluffy scarf and skinny jeans), and went out of the tent to enjoy the morning sun. Next moment I saw Cedric looking - or more like staring - at me, and pretending that I didn't notice, I walked off to find Cho, my BFF. She gazed at the bright blue sky and whispered, " Isn't Cedric so brave?" "Yeah," I replied, trying to sound casual but actually shocked by the fact that Cho also liked Cedric. We enjoyed the world cup, though I wasn't really watching the match, I put most of my attention on Cedric that looked as if his eyes were glued to me, and I didn't want him to notice me looking at him so I peered at him out of the corner of my eyes.
We went back to the portkey with the Weasleys, who coincidentally happened to be friends with the Diggorys. Cedric asked my mother if I could come over for the rest of the holidays. She said yes, and I was too embarrassed to go on my own so I brang Cho with me. Cho was more of a social person than I, so she told Cedric straight-away that she liked him, and he replied with an, "Ohh...um, ok...". When Cho had left the room, he gestured me to come into his room. I was awed by how empty it was. Just as if he had read my mind, he smiled and said, "Dissendium."
Immediately everything appeared. "Cool!" I smiled. "Thanks," he replied. He led me to his bed, and we sat down. "Hey, I don't even know you yet!" Cedric said.
"I'm Sophie, Ravenclaw, I love Quidditch and reading, sometimes I get into trouble but that's because I have important jobs to do that are secret."
He smiles. "Not that detailed. I'm Cedric."
"I know. Cho told me."
"Actually, Sophie, I actually sorta like you...and...well...it doesn't matter if you don't like me..."
"Cedric, I-"
"It's fine," he says, his face falling.
"Cedric, oh Ced, I actually meant that I - (blushing so much that it felt like my face was on fire) - like you too!"
He smiled. "You're sweet," he whispered, and then kissed me very lightly on the lips. His lips were softer than I imagined they could be. It was like heaven, we were hugging each other and were glued to the lips. We finally broke apart when Cho barged into the room, and noticed what we were doing. "Ohh," she said, and she rushed off.
I smiled at him. He smiled back. We spent the rest of the afternoon in Cedric's bedroom, blushing and smiling at each other. It felt like if it was going on forever.
