James started gathering random flower names, and landed on Narcissa Black.

He knew that the girls were each friends with Lily, so the next day he gathered a bouquet.

He added two narcissuses, two daises, and two roses.

He placed an everlasting spell on them.

On the day that Narcissa was forced into an arranged marriage with Lucius, Lily was crying like crazy.

She took the narcissuses out, and threw them away.

James came over to comfort her, and conjured two new ones and handed them to Lily.

She held them tight, and muttered a word of thanks before kissing James lightly on the lips, and then pulled away.

When Lily wasn’t looking, James’s hand went up to his lips, and he smiled.
