I am Loren Dracon, Slytherin and one of a LOOOOONG line of pure-bloods (who are ALL Slytherins, might I add). My family is VERY proud of their status in the Wizarding World, and frankly, I can't blame them.
Sure they can be pompous and arrogant sometimes, but aren't we all?
Anyways.
I'm eating breakfast in the great hall with my friend, Kayli Burns. She has a copy of the Daily Prophet in one hand, and a goblet of pumpkin juice in the other.
"Hey Loren, read this!"
It's an article with the headline, "Ministry Officials Fail To Catch Feral Dragon AGAIN." I take a peek, and the first thing I see is a photo of a dragon, roaring and viciously setting fire to a small village.
"cool..." I say.
But I'm not interested.

After breakfast is Charms.
We're doing summoning charms, but I'm really not concentrating. My mind wanders.
'What would it be like if I was in a different house? Would my family be mad, or would they accept change? What if I never got my letter-to-Hogwarts? Would I be disowned from my family? Where would I go then?
What if....
