One they got home she went to her room and buried her head in her talons. How could she and her father let this happen?
“I need to do something.” She thought. “But what can I do?”
She exited her sleeping cave.
She stopped mid-step.
“the Amethyst sword.” She thought of her father’s words the night of the battle: “the Amethyst sword, the thing that could save us all” she also remembered the guards words: “We can’t just let the Silverwings win Nightcrush!” and now she had to go looking for it. But where could she find it? She looked in the library for the Amethyst Sword legend that might give her some clues. She found it. “Woah” She thought. It looked so old! She read the legend: when all is lost and the war is upon, you will find the Sword that hides in the mist “Its like a puzzle” she said and read on. The purple in the dirt will shine once a year for the dragon who’s family is in danger, for those of you who find the bones of the dragons who are not worthy you go on and may be the one “Uuuummmmm” “I would do anything for my family.”Just then she heard a cry for help, and it was from her dad. The Nightwings captured him and she knew what she had to do.
