Chapter 3
The natural resources and minerals of my island included zinc, water, lumber, livestock, natural gas, petroleum, oil, uranium, iron ore, copper, nickel, goldenseal, diamonds, gold, spicebush, nuts, and vegetables. Our crops consist of potatoes, almonds, barley, sugar beets, wheat, sugar cane, rice, wild rice, oats, carrots, onions, garlic, cabbage, peas, berries, lettuce, apples, tomatoes, ect.
Many favorite foods of the people on my island include soda bread, boxty, colcannon, stew, barmbrack, steak/burgers, chicken, eggs, oatmeal, smoothies, corn on the cob, salads, the occasional pizza, and, of course, cookies. We import bananas, cheese, peppers, milk, oranges, peaches, mangos, kiwis, and avocados. We export almonds, potatoes, tomatoes, barley, eggs, diamonds, rice, gold, bread, cabbage, and berries.
