Midnight could smell it. All her senses were alert. It was dinnertime. She sprang out of bed, and bounded over to the kitchen. She quickly gulped down her chicken mix, wondering what it would be like to be a wild cat, roaming free in the forest, the wind ruffling their fur. After eating, she snuck out to the cat flap, thinking,"this time, i'm actually gonna explore. I at least want to smell the freshness of the grass." after squeezing through a few tight holes, she finally made it to the forest. She couldn't believe her eyes! The forest was a huge, vast, and intresting place for a young cat like her. She wanted to explore, but she had a strange feeling that someone was watching her. Before she could leave, some cat leaped out of the bushes, and pinnd her down. She paniced, but remembered that she was a rather small cat, and squirmed out of reach. She ran for the fence, but the cat that attacked her just stood there. Midnight knew now. This, was a wild cat.
