"Hey", Amanda said to me. "Hey", I replied. "You excited for the project? I'm excited that I got paired with you." "I'm excited for my first essay and I love my partners", I said. "Did you take notes? I forgot my notepad." "Sure did. Beth and I will help you out." "Thanks." I couldn't believe it. I just had made friends with Amanda Lawrence. The kid who everybody liked. "Where have you been?" Beth asked me when I entered the common room. "I was talking with Amanda." "Seriously? That's cool." "Have you been writing your essay?" I asked her. "Yeah", she said. "Hey Amanda", I said when she entered the common room. We all started writing. I put deep thought into this. "Are you guys happy with your house?" Amanda asked us. "Not really. Beth and I really hoped to be in Ravenclaw", I said. "Same here. I know some other Hufflepuffs that wanted Ravenclaw", Amanda said. "Who?" Beth said, just now looking up from her essay. "Brett Coleman and Violet Crenshaw." Beth looked back down to her essay. "I was thinking. I want a club for those people. Also includes Ravenclaws that want to be Hufflepuffs. Like make dorms there, you know", Amanda suggested. "I don't mean to be rude, but where would we put the room? If it is our dorms, where could we put it without anybody knowing where we are? Besides where would we get some beds?" Beth said. "We'll have to wait tonight, but I know just the place", Amanda said. "The Room of Requirement", I said.
