Bloody Picture
Chapter 2
We reached Hogwarts. Emily said that the capture was all over the muggle news, since she was muggle-born and watched it. Right there, I knew we had to do something.
Usually, whenever we reached Hogwarts, I admired the way the Moon rose over the castle, it's reflection appearing in the Great Lake and it's light revealing a mystical castle. But not that this time. Molly was the smartest out of all of us, surely she'll find a way out! But no, she can't think of something THAT good. Can she? But I was shook out of my thoughts when I heard gasps of amazement. I pushed my way through to find out what all the commotion was about. There, on the wall, next to the Great Hall, was a picture of Molly covered in blood! Maybe, just maybe, there was a clue on where Molly was concealed! I tried to reach the picture, but, Professor Flitwick made the photo disappear! "No!", I said, everybody just ignored me. But they can't. I'm gonna make them notice me. "SHUT IT!", I yelled from the top of lungs. Almost like I put a silencing charm, everybody automatically calmed down. "Thank you! Now, before you take that picture away Mr. Flitwick,", I began, saying my first sentence happily, then switching to cautiously, "...what if there is a clue on the picture of where Molly is taken captive. Maybe we could help save her!", I resumed, hoping Flitwick would do as I requested. Flitwick looked at me carefully, then decided to bring the picture back.
I looked at it carefully, oh, there just has to be a clue! Then- "Ah-ha! You see that line? It looks like it could be a trapdoor! Oh! There also looks like there's boxes of Acid Pops! And a box of Chocolate Frogs, and boxes of Pepper Imps! I remember my brothers said something about a trapdoor in Honeydukes. She must be concealed there since there is so much candy! Let's go save her!-", I began, turning around. "Petrificus Totalus!", said a stern voice. I fell to the floor. It was probably McGonagall that cast the darn spell. I tried to move, but I couldn't. The Full Body-Bind Curse made the person cast on, freeze, and only allowed them to breathe and move their eyes. "I am sorry Ms.Twaglorn, for this bad welcome to Hogwarts. I really do wish you had a wonderful summer. But, you cannot go find Ms. Molly Sfint. It is just simply too dangerous! The Ministry has already sent some Aurors to go find Ms. Sfint, they are looking everywhere right now! Promise me that you'll never talk about the picture again by closing your eyes for 3 seconds.", Professor McGonagall. I couldn't promise her! I had to make sure she knew that there was a clue to where Molly is! But I closed my eyes anyway. "Good.", the Professor said. She muttered the countercurse.
Now, here's where the trick comes in. Instead of 3 seconds, I closed my eyes for 1 second. So I made no promise! "Molly is captured at Honeydukes. There is a trapdoor and Acid Pops, so Molly's there. She's not looking so good either-", not again! My hands came to my side, my feet sprang together, and my jaw shut open. It was another Totalus. "No more talking. You have failed for me to gain your trust. Normally, you would have been expelled, but I'm just going easy. Everybody, to the Great Hall!", McGonagall sternly. The some 15 people around us left to the Great Hall for the feast to join the others without another word. "Meet me after the feast.", McGonagall said quietly, muttering the countercurse without looking at me and leaving. With that, I got up and left to the Great Hall.
