written by ♡Aℓσнα♡

Mia Michaelson was no ordinary teenage girl. She got what she wanted all the time with a bit of tricking, but no hexing. She wasn't nice, but wasn't evil. She wasn't ugly, but she was pretty. But her friend, Lily knows exactly who she is, sorta smart Slytherin.

The Punk That's to Small to be One

Chapter 2
Now, you may be wandering about how I look like. I have wavy brown hair that's a little past my shoulders, natural red/pink lips, and sparkly brown eyes. People think I'm really pretty, and that's not including my grandma who calls me, "a pretty little princess", even at school, some people think I put makeup on. Though I would never put makeup on since it destroys you. My mom sometimes says I use magic to make myself look beautiful, though I again would never.
I don't go to regular school anymore. I remember when I got my Hogwarts letter, I had to tell my friends on the phone that I was going to move to another school closer to my home, since my old school was a 10 minute drive. They bought that pretty good, which is a good thing. But I always visit on summer vacation because my school sometimes has rallies during summer. So, that's a way my friends and I keep in touch besides going to their houses or them coming to mine. I really like Hogwarts. It feels just like home, but better! I got sorted into Slytherin, no surprise. I can be cunning at times. But sometimes I wish I could be Gryffindor. I am very brave, so why couldn't I have gotten that house? But it was too late anyway. That sorting was years ago....
I suddenly hear a knock at my door. I opened my bedroom door.
And, I don't know if I should scream, or just kick that person until they go unconscious because my room had a bunch of spell books and a couldren, and my wand. I decided I should just smile to the short punk, after all, she was my friend.
"Heeeey, Lily.", I said, smiling nervously. "Hi! Oh, nice decoration and toy wand by the way. But can and I come in?", Lily said, saying her second sentence fast. I welcome her in, putting a shopping bag over the couldren to make it look like an over sized garbage bag. "Oh! And that's my brother's toy!", I said. My brother, Mike, stuck his head through the open door, holding a basketball and a jersey that said, " Stephan Curry". I gave my 11 year-old brother a look that meant to play along. He smiled the most stupid goofy grin ever. "Oh, yeah. I was playing wizards with Mia. She was a dumb princess that couldn't save herself, so I had to save her!", he said. I rolled my eyes, trying to hide the fact of how angry I was, though I was doing poorly. But when Lily looked at me, I smiled and muttered a quick, "Yup". I continued smiling while walking over to Mike and pulling him by the ear out to the hallway outside of my bedroom. I frowned but said, "Nice story." And than he did that stupid grin and said, "Thanks!". But I didn't stay mad on him for long. There was something way more important I needed to ask him. I gritted my teeth and said, "Did you let that small shorty in?". "No, you said you don't want anyone to come to your room this week beside us so you could get your trunk ready. Anyway, I thought you let her in!", Mike responded. I shook my head. "No, I don't like Lily that much anymore. She's
so -- so weird sometimes.", I said, barely feeling bad about what I said. Mike nodded in agreement. Earlier that week, Mike and I had both agreed to not let any of our friends in so we could both get ready for Hogwarts.(Mike is also a muggle-born!) We even made it clear with our parents! I headed back to my room, Mike following me.
"Oh! You're back!", Lily said smiling. "Yeah, um, Lily, who let you in-", I began. But of course Mike just HAD to interrupt me! "Get out right now!", Mike said, pushing Lily to the door. I looked at Mike in bewilderment. Now how are we going to find out who let Lily in? But it was too late. Lily was already running out the door. I looked at my smiling, proud-looking brother, furious, and pushed him away from his forehead.
I always knew that my short friend was weird. But now it was almost like she was giving that personality to my brother!
