The foster system
Chapter 4
It's been three months since the accident and im getting used to the fake leg. I have been to 5 different foster familys. they have all been different crazy experiences. The first one was good but i hardly even left my room. The second one was terrible because there were 3 boys who were all trying to wrestle me all day. The 3rd and 4th were good but i was kinda sad because there were 2 parents and a girl my age so it just reminded me of my family. The one im currently in (5ht for those who are not counting) is my favorite. There is a mom, a dad, a little boy, and a newborn girl. Last night I heard wispers from downstairs. I managed to catch the words kate and adoption. I was so happy!! But the news I heard the next morning were anything but the news I was expecting.
