Chapter 4
...A few weeks later...
"I want the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth!" Grace said. You probably know what she wants the truth about but even if you do I'll fill you in on what happened. Here's how it went...
Me and Grace are at my house sitting on the porch eating ice cream when she asked me where I was before I came to the school. "Oh, I just moved from Nevada" I said. (i didn't know. that was the first thing that came to mind.) "no you didn't." she yelled. I was surprised because she had always been so nice and calm with me. next thing I knew she burst out in tears. "I thought you were my best friend but you've been lying to me" she yelled between sobs. "what! its not my fault I don't remember anything before last month!" I yelled before I could even think. The whole street went silent. It seemed like the world had stopped. That's how I came to be sitting at Graces moms therapists office with her right now.
