River's broom was out of control. It zipped in loops and dives around the castle grounds. “Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!” River screamed. Right then, the broom zoomed off the the side and went straight towards the Forbidden Forest! “Oh no!” She thought. It crashed into the ground, and River was thrown from the broom. When she came to River was laying on her side in a pile of dead leaves. “I have to get out of here!” She exclaimed. But how? She didn’t even know what direction the way out of the forest was. Everyone back at Hogwarts would be looking for her. She pulled her self up to a standing position. A bolt of pain shot through her ankle. “Ow..”. But it wasn’t that bad and she still could walk. The sun was setting, and Hogwarts was no where in sight. River kept walking, for hours, knowing she was probably in the wrong direction, to scared to go back the way she had come because of the weird noises. Then she heard a howl. “That could be anything! But it’s not a full moon!” River stated. She ran quicker, hearing the noise of something chasing after her. She broke through the tree line just as the creature pounced on her, and the last thing she saw was Professor McGonagall and the nurse running towards her.
