The next day, after charms and Potions with Snape, which turned out to be dreadful, Rowan and River were walking down the hall, judging every Slytherin they saw. “Is it that one? The one with the black hair?” Asked Rowan. “Who me?” said the Slytherin girl, turning to look at them. After a very long confusing explanation, the Slytherin girl shrugged and walked away. “Did she say she’s never heard of the prophecy?” Groaned River. “Maybe it’s her.” Rowan guessed. “This is boring. We have to go to flying class now too.” River stated. At flying class, Madam Hooch gave everyone a school broom and told them to say, “UP!”. River gritted her teeth. Her brother was on the Slytherin team. If she could only get on Ravenclaws’ team... River would show him. “UP!” She commanded, and her broom flew into her hand. She waited until every one had got their brooms. Then they mounted them. All of a sudden, the broom rocketed off into the sky, taking River with it.
