Could this day get any better?
Chapter 10
I looked towards the main door to find an angry-looking Pansy Parkinson. I shrugged. "Tsk, could this get any better?" I said slowly, enough for me alone to hear it. "I heard every word you said to Draco just now and I must say, I am not happy with it!!" She yelled while walking towards me. "Tsk, look here Draco, you already got an admirer on the first day of school! Better be ready for love letters eh?" O smirked while standing, and leaned to the wall, one feet up. "And Pansy, I gotta warn you, he could be a total jerk, so just a heads-up okay? I don't wanna have a fight with you on the first day of school. You can go snog him when I'm not around. Don't worry." I said calmly while packing my things and winked at her, smirked at Draco. I got out the Great Hall. 'Ugh, I can't eat with this kind of people around me!' I thought to myself and made my way to the library.

I later found out from Daphne that Draco isn't satisfied with the news and had challenged him to a duel. I gasped, but I know that it might not be true. So I made my way out the common room and went to search for any of the Golden Trio. I found Harry together with Hermione and Ron. Hermione seems to be rather mad, she is explaining to them how this could mean breaking the rules. I made my way towards them. Ron saw me first. My emerald eyes is the most distinctive trait of course, after my black hair. "Hey, Elizabeth. Anything we can help?" Ron said. "Oh, no, I'm actually trying to help all of you too. And Ron, please call me by my middle name, Rose." I said with a concerned look. "Nah, Malfoy wouldn't allow us to call you that." Ron answered. "Oh, come on, don't tell me you are actually psyched out by a short jerk who is 5 cm shorter than me?" I tried to hold my laughter but it bursted anyway. We all laughed. "Oh, that felt good, anyways what's with the duel?" I asked, making my way closer to Hermione. "Malfoy asked me to duel with him in the Trophy Room." Harry answered. "Duel? Well, that's not really like him to duel on others. He usually just taunt or teased them. I'm afraid he must be lying. You don't need to go, you know?" I said. "No, I'm still going." Harry answered. "Harry! You heard her, he could be tricking us!" Hermione said. "I actually don't know what's going to happen, but if you insists on going, I'll go too. We'll meet at the Trophy Room. Okay?" I asked for confirmation. "Alright. See you" Harry replied. "I'm sorry that I couldn't share much right now, Draco and I, we're not on good terms right now. I know you could tell that, right?" I shrugged. "It's okay, but, is it just me or he some times behaved differently with you?" Ron tried to ask politely. "I'm not quite sure, he acts like a bawling baby some times". I said while rolling my eyes. We all laughed and promised to meet at the Trophy Room on midnight. I made my way back to the common room when a slight headache hits me. It is as if a voice talking to me slowly, saying "Why do you care helping those three Gryffindors??" I immediatly replied, "Because they're my friends" and went straight to my dorm.
