Chapter 2
McGonagall left right before the moon came fully out. Points for timing. Because I'm only half-werewolf I don't go through the whole transformation. My fingers turn to claws, my feet turn to paws, my ears change, I get a tail, but I don't get fur. It hurts as much as it would hurt a normal werewolf. I howl in pain. I lay down on my back next to Kiran. He makes me feel safe. I have the urge to move and I do. Pain fills my body. Kiran licks my hand and comforts me. I lay back down
7:00 A.M.
It's over, it's over for a whole month, It's over. I tell myself. Kiran sensed my relief and ran after a squirrel. We were just about to go to Hagrid's hut to say hi and for the dogs to play a little before class when 3 fifth-year boys came up to me. 'Oh no,' I thought, yesterday I saw one of them hex a first-year for asking where Charms 101 was. "Well, well, well, what do we have here? A tiny little first-year breaking rules and going into the forest" one of them said, I started to grab my wand, apparently one of them saw, cause he said"Oh no, she's gonna use her wand against us. I'm so scared" 'You can do this' I thought. I managed to 'Expelliarmus' two of them before the 3rd one screamed 'Stupify' and I fell into darkness. Apparently Hagrid saw because When I woke up in the hospital wing 1 week later my corky and only friend Emery was there and said: "Oh what did you get yourself into this time, Dumbo?",
"Oh, nothing much"
"Listen I know you're a werewolf", she whispered.
"But, how? Please. Please don't tell anyone. And, are we still friends?"
"Why. Why would I tell anyone? And, why. Why would I not be your friend?"
"Thank you. And, I'm only half-werewolf."
"Oh, by the way, Hagrid taught those cockroaches a lesson. It was EPIC. He grabbed those cockroaches, put you on Fang and Kirans back then walked them straight to McGonagall, explained what happened, gave them months-long detention, then took you here. IT WAS EPIC!!!"
